Culture Grams
The Culture Grams site contains a variety of information from the United States to Australia. All of the countries are included in the site and the site is updated twice annually, making the information quite current. You are able to use a map to click on a state and/or country of your choice to explore. I found much of the information interesting and exciting enough to share this in a classroom. I could pull it up on a projector and share with children the many different cultures. By sharing this site with students they could do research and write about different countries giving me many details about each.

The site has a specific page stating why it should be used for education instead of Google. All of the information you could find is okay to use for k-12. On Google you can never be sure what is going to pop up. I could use this as a resource for students to find out more information about a subject.
